Thanks Trace, I think Way will like it. You got to see what it looked like before we started... next week we’ll wetsand and buff it. I know it’s a track car but it’ll have an almost show job on it.

Had Way pulled the motor out before I got it, I was going to paint it lime green without telling him....lol.

Lookin' good, Mark!!
If it was lime green, it couldn't be the Angry Bird. It would have to be the Evil Pig!

Very nice, wonder what Way has planned for engine, etc.... I remember him telling me he has a stash/stack of parts for it.
Nice thread and seeing another potential scrapper getting a new life.

PIG is right cause it is heavy, but this Bird is going on a diet.

Yes there is a section of the warehouse reserved for it's parts, now I realize why I'm broke.

So we got the Bird picked up last week from Collision Specialties in Charlotte. And I got to say this car is PERFECT
Everyone that has seen it at the shop has just stopped and admired cause the paint is perfect. Mark ended up painting the entire car, and my new JCW body kit. He removed all the glass cut off the roof and replaced it with a non sunroof panel. The left front strut tower was crushed and now just as straight as can be. I can't be any happier and if anyone needs some quality work done don't hesitate to take it to Charlotte it was worth it.
I'll post some pics asap.

Now Way needs to finish it to make it look better.
