bmw coolant vs mini coolant = same?

is bmw coolant the same as mini coolant? they are both blue-aqua

and more generally the same/compatible w/ other G11 coolants (BMW's, OLD Audi/VW's, Jags, etc.) Aftermarket sold in the U.S. under the Pentosin brand, but be sure to find G11. While I'm under warranty, I just figure Mini product makes sense.

I dont think much of it as a gratuitous comment, since it is three generations out of date now for VW Audi OEM. Last used by them circa 1996. Since then they have gone to G12, G12+ and now G12++ (red, pink, purple) with improved/modified additives to extend life and reduce chemical interactions. NOT compatible though w/ G11, and (non) compatibility with almost anything else is one of the big Achilles heels of G11. Thus, good you are asking. A lot of people screwed up a lot of VW's + Audi cooling systems in the 80's thinking they could just pour good old Prestone green into it. Not.
