Did you sign any paperwork in advance of the dealer locating your MINI?
The upholstery should have been noted.

MINI Cooper models come standard with leatherette and although the cloth is a no charge option it does require the sports seats that are $250.00 additional. So if you did not want sport seats you now have a car with a MSRP of $250.00 more.

I would ask for a price concession and also fabric treatment against spills.

I think that you wil like the cloth seats better than the pleather. I drove a loaner with leatherette and I am very happy that I ordered cloth.

 

I had the cloth on my 07. It is nice quality.

My 11 MCS has the pleatherette, which I wanted because of my dogs. Easy to clean, and it is a visual improvement over the old two tone.

Cloth picks up smells: dogs, returning from a run, coffee, etc.

Don't settle. Get what you want.

 

 

hey this problem happened to me but it was regarding blackhousing headlights ... As long as its on the original order form the dealer has to honor it...
