Hey guys..

So I am trying to collect some items for my first oil change (will try do it on my own first time).. and I went to local BMW dealer, and they told me that this is oil they use on Mini Coopers and this is the filter for them as well. Thats what they use when they do oil change on Minis..

Oil is one thing, but I see that the filter looks different from what I have seen on line.. I have 2011 Mini Cooper S.

i've just changed my oil on 2011 mcs. the bmw oil should be good. but i don't know about the filter.

mine was #11-42-7-557-012 as confirm by other post around here. it seems the filter you bought is for 1st gen mini based on realoem.com.

For some reason when i get filters for my 09 MCS they always give me the wrong one......
