Drove a Electric Nissan Leaf today. On a fun factor scale of 1 to 100 my MCS would be a 100, the Leaf a 1. $30,000+ for that thing ???? It sue made me appreciate my MCS.

Very different vehicles not sure why you would even compare them. On another note, we are getting both. Again, two different vehicles for very different reasons.
4th Gear
But I like electric vehicles and would definitely have one. Let's see what BMW will show in Megacity EV.

My household is exactly like Praecurvo's: Prius and MCS. It's a joy having both, extremely flexible, and as much as I adore and even abuse my MINI, the Prius is great to drive in all the ways the MINI isn't: Smooth, isolated, easy, accommodating. And, of course, the MINI is more fun to drive but in the ways the Prius isn't: Immediate, fun, direct contact with road, responsive.
There's no one perfect car for everyone, every task, or every environment, and what that mix is for each person is quite different. An electric MINI certainly won't burble and pop, unless there's a way to play back an audio file of it while driving!
