I need to haul stuff. Clearly not inside. I finally got a look at the Mini luggage racks. I don't see what holds them on. They go under the rail lip, but I don't see any clamp mechanism.

Does anyone have experience with these things, putting real loads on them? Stress etc? I had a rack come off a Sabb once. Really ugly. I need to haul some lumber or steel occasionally.

 

Get the stockers they are the best. If you look on your rails you will see these rectangular pieces in the rail, they come out and that is where the stockers fit in.

 

Yeah, if you look down the rail carefully you can see perforated slots that you can cut out to reveal a slot for the rail system to hook into. There is other forums on this and its in the directions when you buy them. Its MUCH easier than what people on here where making it out to be. Very good stock rack....
