Just ordered my Eclipse Grey/ White top JCW! Excited to be a future eclipse grey owner =D
Just wanted y'alls opinion on putting on racing stripes... I really like the matte black racing stripes, but will it work out with the color scheme? Or is white a much better choice?
I just ordered my matte black viper strips and some extra to do the a-Pannels (where the scuttles are). I will post up some pics after I get them. I have a black roof but maybe it will help you to see it. I am planning on stripping the roof and sun roof and I am also wondering how it will work. But like it was said above, if I don't like it I will peel it off.

Papadar! That front end is boss! Where did you find those silver stripes AND where did you find that skull badge AND where can someone find those lamps (lower)? ...if you don't mind so many questions...
Thanks nexguy, those are from our friends from outmotoring.com the skull badge(dome), silver stripes. The foglamps below are Hella 700ff with PIAA 100w super whites (I drive the backroads/rural roads (extra hilly and twisty) to work) I don't want to hit any animals specially people at night, I use it mostly on foggy days but always turn it off at the slightest hint that I have somebody coming from the other side of the road.
Hey all! New to the forum (well, new to mini actually). My r59 (roadster) cooper S is in next week (insert girly squee here) and I can't decide on a few final details. Eclipse grey body color (of course) the roof is black (only option) and I got the jcw package with recaro seats so there are touches of red here and there. My conundrum is this. Do I carry the red through to mirror caps and viper stripes, or should I go for the more subtle silver? I've seen black accents, but it seems too boring for me. Soooo, red or silver accents, what's everyone's opinions? Thanks

I think red looks great on the EG...may I suggest silver stripes with red pin stripes? Might look cool if you want to carry both colors. Definitely the red caps
Just picked up my 2011 Eclipse Gray about 3 weeks ago. Completely stock at this point, but I plan on tinting the windows and maybe doing a few other subtle changes. Scratch me from the list. Sold Clubman. Just to dark for a compulsive guy with cleanliness issues. My white-silver R57 is good at hiding that horrible dust or dirt.
