I can't wait to see it in person. That is a deciding factor for a new MINI.

None of the colors on MINI's web site look like their real life counterpoints. Have to see them in real life to know for sure what they look like. It is nice there is another free color choice.

I hate to say this but for a unique motoring car, mini is really lacking for color choices.

Once in a while they offer a great color but for the most part...

I think Spice Orange is gone. The new black is pretty nice as long as your hobby is washing your car .

Mine is Chili Red/Black. Laser Blue and Mello Yellow were my 2nd and third choices but they are gone now too.

MINI needs to get a little bolder with less silvers and blues and more stronger colors.

Upon what is this based? Spice Orange is new for 2011 and still accessible thru the configurator. Good thing, as I like it.

Yellow is gone...

The swatch at the dealer had it looking like it had a little grey in it. Not as bright light blue as the VW limited edition Arctic Blue.

Spice Orange is still available at least on the convertible. I just picked up a 2011 Spice Orange. Love the color. Thinking about calling it Jack-O.

Spice Orange is also my fav Mini color. Since it's "disappeared" from the configurator, though, I suspect the only way to get that color will be any cars with that paint either already here or on their way here?

I just "configured" a Spice Orange hardtop this morning on the MINI.USA site, and I've not observed that color option disappearing at any time (don't forget that you have to scroll down to see all of the color combos).

Just in case some folks weren't already aware, all colors aren't available on all models - Cooper, S, convertible, Clubman, etc - all have different available palettes.

This should be a better representation than what the miniusa site shows.

I couldn't agree more. I've always found it strange that MINI produces a car that exudes fun, and they have such fun mrketing and customer relations. Then, you get to the color palate, it's like, 90% conservative colors. I remember getting a little excited when I first heard of they were coming out with an orange. And then, when I saw Spice Orange, it was the most conservative orange you could imagine. I'm all for a couple classy colors here and there, but they need to make some room for a bold orange and yellow and a few other lively colors on the list, as well.

I love my blue but yeah, there's probably a reason my mom and I ended up finding only blue Minis for sale around here ha ha. Definitely not much color variety.

While I like Laser Blue, I really wanted yellow. But not the blah mellow yellow, or the more blah interchange yellow. What I wanted was the Pearl Hot Rod Yellow that is on the Honda Gold Wing and S2000. Or maybe Miata or Corvette yellow.

MINI - maybe it's a British thing - just doesn't offer many bold exciting colors.

BRG has never been boring, remember racing colours are automatically faster than any other colour offered.

Blacked Out

Black out that car, and it would look pretty solid. Black wheels, black roof, black sport stripes, black headlamps housings.
