The MINI dashboard, 1938-style

Anybody ever notice the resemblance of the Gen 2 MINI dash to the Lincoln Zephyr from 1937/38? This is kind of interesting... the first pic is a '37, and the second is a '38.

The Lincoln is bigger.

Other than that, it is pretty interesting how similar they are.

The center speedo has been around for a long time, but it took MINI to oversize it. Every thing old is new again.
