R56 I am so fed up... this is the last straw.
Just an update....
Here, over two months later, I'm still waiting for the warranty rep to stop by the dealership so they can approve my new VIN tag.
I check in with them about every 2-3 weeks and still get the "waiting on them" bs answer.
It's already middle of december, when the first of the year rolls around, the shiet is going to hit the fan. 3 months is more than enough time.

Wow, hate to read all this cause I just bought a new 2011 from those folks. So far no problems though. Co worker has a 2009 NCS and has been real happy with them though. Go figure. I'd love to see your MCS if you're ever in the University area.
I have a working relationship with them but my patience is wearing thin. I think tomorrow I'm gonna have to raise some hell.

That's a crock of s***. They can fax a copy of the request to their rep anytime they would like - he/she signs it and sends it back. I used to do it at least 2-3 times a month for body shops. Turn around, from start to finish, was usually 2-3 weeks tops. Your dealer blows.
I stopped in last week and told them I'd just call Mini Usa and start complaining.

They act like these reps are some Wizard of Oz like character and impossible to reach via phone or email. This is not the case. At the dealer I worked at, we had our reps phone number, fax number, and email address. They're totally yanking your chain. You can tell them an ex-MINI parts employee says that.
WOW please remind me not to go to that dealer i deal with Flow mini in Winston Salem NC and they have always been good to me...
good luck!!!!
there is always the BBB to complain to...

Sorry to hear about this mess, Mark. Some MINI dealerships didn't get the memo on the *MINI way of life*...
Mark, this place is too big to go and try to find it, but I saw buried in another post something about your MINI getting wrecked. That true?

Stopped in the dealership today to try to get something done. The parts manager is the one taking care of this and he told me he had a death in the family.
At that point, I sure as hell wasn't going to bring up my stupid VIN tag... I'm sure there are more important things than a sticker.
I'll see them in a couple of weeks.... then I'll get obnoxious.
