$199 monthly lease

Question? Has anyone ever seen a better offer on a new Mini Cooper than the current one for August? I feel it's great value, even though it's a lease. Because even with nothing down other than first months payment, it's still only $273 monthly with tax and all on a $24250 msrp vehicle.

With the upcoming release of 2011 models, would you take your chances to let this offer go and see if it gets better (possibly for the S as well??)

I've been thinking about the same thing. When I saw all the upfront costs though I figured buying was still a better deal for me. Glad to see you worked out the numbers for rolling that into the lease. But are you still talking just 10,000 miles a year? I need about twice that.

I was considering a lease as well, then chose to go ith the Mini Select Financing instead.. Low interest rates and $1750 off the car made the deal very appealing. I was concerned with the mileage offered on the lease.

Hopefully our New S will be a good addition to the stable..

It is in fact 10000 yearly, but I've got my new truck as well, so miles would be divided between the two. It's such a screaming deal!! Too bad I can't get the same deal on a Dark Silver model I like more with the EXACT same MSRP and another dealer. Funny how that works out. The only downfall with this one is it's an automatic, and they seem a bit more sluggish.

Residuals of automatics tend to be higher than manuals. So, same MSRP won't yield the same payment when changing trannys.

Oh really? Strange.....1750 more for an Automatic, option, yet I have to buy a car that costs about 2000 less to have the same payment. Confused, but still putting the pressure on to get the best deals! Right now, the manual car for 24250 is about 29 bucks higher per month on payment.

$200/month and how much down do they want? That sounds pretty sweet to me. Sure, you only get 10K miles, but I've never seen a lease with over 12K. Some Beemer leases want a pot of gold down, but maybe not Mini.

Might work if you are going to put low miles and don't plan on keeping it. As for me, I put 30K+ miles per year on a car and plan on driving it until it won't drive any longer. 175K minimum. Purchase is a better deal for me.

Well, I've decided to pass on this months offer and will just see what the future brings. Don't need a car right now, just want one
