On a 2010 Cooper S, I vaguely remember reading somewhere that there was an engine change made to the 2010's. The newer motors having a few more horses. Can someone shed some light on this? Is there an I.D. tag or a number somewhere, something that tells them apart?

 

In the 2010 models, the LSD option was removed. That's the only one I am familiar with. S model is still rated at 172 HP, and the JCW model is still rated at 208 HP.
