So I was at a stoplight on the way to work today and a Cayman S pulled up beside me. I wasn't paying much attention and the light changed and he gunned it to get around me. I was a half-second late on the take, but I thought I could use a bit of adrenaline to help wake me up, so I floored it. We hit about 65 or so pretty quickly and then he pressed down on the accelerator a bit more. I think the driver of the Porche was caught by surprise that he had to push his Cayman a bit harder than he thought to get safely ahead of me to change to my lane and avoid hitting a parked car in his. At the next light, he rolled down the window and asked what I had in there. I said it was stock and he gave me a thumbs up and we went on our way at the legal speed limit (35, I think). Not bad for a lil' guy .

 

I had a great run yesterday with another MINI. I spotted him a street away and sped up to catch up. Followed him onto the highway and we cruised together for about 7 miles. 7 miles that lasted all of 4 minutes. I got a couple smiles and thumbs up from other drivers as our two blacked out MINIs blew past them. It was a great adrenaline rush, and my MC kept up with his MCS quite well actually.

 

I got smoked by an extremely moddified SRT4 the other day. To the point were when he switched gears 9 car lengths ahead of me he was shooting flames outh the back.
