my receiver for my keyless entry got water in it is now dead and mini only sells the whole rear view as a whole but i dont really need the mirror any one know where I can just get the receiver, the numbers I got off it was 3419938-02 & 28023934

 

Probably your best/only option is to try to score a complete mirror from a junkyard. Check around - shouldn't be to hard to find, and likely would be a ton cheaper than buying new from the parts dept.

 

What year and model do you have and do you have convenient access?

These peices of info would help as some cars have up to 5 recievers for keyless access.

 

I have an 2007 S type with just the FOB key so far I am unable to find the part online just the mirror from junk yards

any help would be much appreciated =)

 

Well comfort access has a Fob Key as well.

But you probably have the non comfort access, unless of course you have buttons on the door handles to unlock the car.

When i get home I will look in the wiring diagrams and see what I can find. All the parts diagrams show is that the antenna for and module for the lock/unlock are "not" in the mirror. but hte parts diagrams are sometime wrong.

 

Speaking of mirrors...

Would a auto-dimming mirror with the home-link be a bolt on aftermarket part, or would it require a reprogram?
