I know that I can do the retrofit but I can't find the parts other than the dealership can someone point me in the right direction

I don't know of anyone other than a dealership who will sell this stuff. You might try Morristown Mini, they discount parts pretty heavily.

There are plenty of BMW mail order parts places. Bimmerschwag.com seems to be offline, they had the best prices. ECStuning.com has BMW parts. I know there are more, but I can't think of them at this point.

Classic MINI gives you a 15% discount if you tell them you're a member of NAM. Just give them your screen name at checkout.

Pelican Parts also may have those parts...
