How do I remove steering column plastic surround
Tiring to add the MFSW, got the wheel off and I need to swap the switch that rotates with the wheel but I can't figure out how to remove the surrounding plastic.
I've undone the 2 lower screws but it's still attached and I don't want to break any tabs I don't about...so what's the trick?

Good DIY above.
Diagram. #16 needs undone and it can hold the bottom portion up. Then two screws and the top tap needs removed also. You don't have to unplug it but the wire do fish under the little rubber trim for the flexing of the column.
