I check my oil once every month or so for normal driving.

So far it does not seem to burn oil from what I can tell.

I check mine about once a month, and change the oil at about 6000 miles and have never found it to be low enough to worry about, maybe a 1/2 pint lower than when fresh oil was put in.

I like to check it whenever I stop for fuel. It's just a couple of minutes to check and it kills time while the gas tank fills up...

I check the oil on a regular basis but the dad-blasted dipstick is very hard to decipher!

Lay it on a paper towel and roll it slightly so you can see the oil stain.

I check it when I remember to (best to do it cold). Mine hasn't burned any oil. Last oil change was by the dealer. They filled it about 1/4" above the top mark. It is still at that level.
