mini launch (manual only)

say you guys are trying to get the quickest launch possible from stop. how do you adjust your car's setup so you get the greatest power out of your car with the least amount of slip between the road and your tires?

-Traction on?
-DTC on?
-Traction completely off?
-Sport button on/off?

Intersting thread. Unless you are drag racing, why would you want to abuse the clutch that way? Definately have the sports button on. As far as the rest is concerned, is best to get it launced gently in first gear than hammer it.

No no I don't drag or anything often but once in a while I'll stop at a light with a few friends and launch off. I was wondering what would give me the best traction with the combination of speed as well. I've heard that it's better to actually launch without sport to limit the amount of tire slip to grip faster. However, I'm sure this is highly debated. Any other suggestions/ideas?

Best suggestion I have is let your buddies get tickets, wear down their clutches, and burn off tire rubber at launch, then catch and pass them in the twisties.
