You know what is really strange. Mine is a late dec '06 R56. It has the panoramic roof and from day1, it's been a single flick to tilt the sunroof. And other flick of the switch to open it fully. Vice versa to close it.

Perhaps it region specific?

YUP. The KP box works great on my R56 sunroof ... two quick twitches to the switch, and it does the work for me.

 

Do you think their auto-roll-up windows and sunroof will work too?

 

I have no reason to doubt -- Kevin (KP) produces a quality product with a quality set of instructions. The only challenge I can see (without knowing anything about that particular product) is getting the wiring for both the roof-switch AND the door-switches to the same single module -- but I bet he's got it knocked.
