I just recently installed the alarm in my 07 MINI. I've had the computer updated by the dealer. But the 3 page foldout card that came with the alarm doesn't give me much information about programming it or changing any options (just what the key buttons do).

When I lock the doors, a single LED in the Tach pod blinks about 20 times quickly. Then all 3 LEDs go into a slow pulse blink. If I wave my hand around in through an empty door window, after a few seconds of waving, all the exterior lights start flashing. But I get no alarm or anything else. I'm 'pretty' sure the connection to the alarm/sensor was plugged in fully when I installed it and it did click in when connected.

So is there a setting that needs to be made to make the alarm sound? Or is something wrong with my system?

If there are settings that can be made, does anyone have a listing of what commands can be set into it?
