MINI plus pole = bad

So i was moving the mini in a car park and a pole caught my blind spot and boom. i was moving realy slow just some bumper damage no real damage it does not appear. So how much are these bumper covers. I figure i should buy a new one car is like 4k miles old :(. I figure i can get my local body shop to shoot it for me and install it on the slow so it is cheaper.

I have cheked real oem but did not see a price how bad of a day did i just have ?

+1 if you are going to buy new. Or you might be able to pick up a cover in your color here on NAM or ebay from someone who is buying an aero and has taken off the bumper cover. Any pics?

Once you get the part number from Real OEM you can get the price from Pelican Parts. I think there are several vendors who sell MINI factory parts at good prices as well.

However, you need to make sure that the bumper is the only thing that was damaged. I had a parking lot situation where the side of a BMW hit my rear bumper at about 2 mph. It took more than a new bumper to fix.

well i hope that is all it is other wise this car hold up well. I have done this same thing with my old rsx it was a bumper cover the end.

Short of possible the hanger on the side where the damage occured i do not see any other issue it hit right where the bumper sits on the actual bumper.

looks like you just need some touch up paint.
the rear bumper is $371 last time i checked on pelican.
i had an incident regarding my rear bumper and a wall and my dealership.
that is a bad combination also.

What color is it? CR? I have a spare with probably less than 500 miles on it. Spotless.

RED.
I ordered one off ebay for like 170 shipped that looks good. I will have my body man take a crack at it and clean it up and drop it on.
I tend to do this once to my cars sadly just my luck.

I had something like that on my rear bumper when I bought my used 2005. The dealer said he would take care of it, in the end they just needed to heat it up and refinish the whole bumper up rather than replace it. You can't tell at all where it was.
