R56 My Cooper, My Cooper!

My Cooper, My Cooper!
I did it!
I couldn't wait until June to order my Mini, because I need it by July (my current car's lease ends in mid-July), and my MA told me it was about an eight week wait time. I took the plunge!! All that's left is to send them my insurance info and my cooper will be ordered!!
I'm not a fan of dressing up my cars very much, so I opted for the following configuration:
2009 Mini Cooper S (manual)
Laser Blue w/ white top and mirrors, no stripes
Cloth interior
Limited Slip Differential
16" Bridge Spoke wheels (white powder coated)
All season tires
The monthly payments are going to be tough, but I think it's really going to be worth it in the end! I have been wanting a Mini for so long! I'm completely excited!!!

LOL...I was offered cruise control, but I really didn't want it (I don't care about the multifunction steering wheel with the radio controls...just an added cost that wasn't important to me). Honestly, I just wanted to keep things simple and enjoy the Mini S as the brilliant car it is in stock form (well, except for that LSD...ha, ha)! I can't wait...I just faxed over the last documents this morning, so I'm really looking forward to tracking my little Mini through production and shipping!!
On another note, since the weather is getting warmer, I've seen a lot of Minis on the road. I even saw a Clubman for the first time (Pepper White and I think they live near me, because I see them every morning on the way to work)! Gotta love these little cars!!

Congrats Snapple! I was in the same boat, was going to wait, but took the plunge early and couldn't be happier!
Otto's staff is awesome - did you get Holly as your MA, or Brook or Michelle? I've had such a great experience buying from them, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!
Congrats again, can't wait to see pics!

Congrats SnappleLlama, Laser Blue is the only way to go Your build sounds very much like my 06 build, nothing extra just the bare minimum to keep the payments down. You'll love it...and then you'll buy another one with more toys in a few years :D

Congrats on getting a base car! I'd get less options than I did if I were to do it all over again.
I agree with the others that the mfsw would be nice to have (I didn't get it though), BUT I like not having it because the steering wheel without buttons looks so much better and you don't have to worry about hitting anything during aggressive driving.
