I think i'm going to get a Top Side Oil Extractor and start doing my own oil changes.

Isn't there always some oil that gets left in the bottom with the extractor method though?

maybe a few drops. also there is always some oil that gets left in the oil filter housing with the drain plug method. with the extractor you can suck out those excess oil in the oil filter housing.

No. Or at least not enough to matter. I've been using an extractor for years and it's all good.
