Took MINI out of storage today

I put the car in storage last year before Thanksgiving and I just took it out today. We hooked up the battery and the car fired right over. sounded great too. I was going to sell it but once I got in it and drove it I fell in love again. I like storing it for the winters and driving my suv in the bad weather. every spring when i take it out its like getting a new car.

I could never put my mini in storage I would Miss it to much even though it's not my daily driver. I have a 2007 chevy silverado 2500HD as my work truck and I can't wait till the weekends so I can drive the mini.

I hate putting cars. I've done it 3 times. Next time though its going to be a hardcore on jacks storage for my car. It will be the first time for the MINI.

BASIL comes out of storage this weekend ... been feeling the need to MOTOR for a while now, and the clubs are starting up spring drives now --

Suggestion: instead of disconnecting your battery, invest in one of these ($30 at BatteriesPlus stores); they work GREAT -- and all I hafta do if I wanna move the car in the winter is unplug the stupid-proof harness and GO.

I did the same thing today too! Temps finally hit the 50's today, I drove mine last year but had damaged the front splitter and rear diffuser so i decided to get a winter beater (Jeep Wrangler), I had such a blast today!! I forgot how responsive and frisky my ANKLBTR is. Anyway, just saw the weather forecast for the NH area & looks like I may have to hold off on swapping my tires for another month or so... c'mon spring!!

I do love my Mini but I appreciate it more when I take it out for spring. We had a tough winter and we have some major potholes that would destroy my mini. I noticed that I have a triangle warning on with a exclamation point in the middle. I'll have to check my manual tomorrow. I have had my mini for almost two years and it only has 8,000 miles on it.
