Does the 2009 Mini remember Power Mirror settings for each key fob?

 

I can't check the User Manual right now. On the 09 Mini, is the setting of the outside mirrors maintained in the Key Fob? I assumed it was a feature of the Key Fob memory but maybe I am wrong.

If you are talking about the outside mirrors, no, they do not have a memory feature. Once you adjust them with the *** on the arm rest of drivers door they are set and you won't have to mess with them again. Be careful as not to turn the **** and hold it, that will activate the Power Fold Mirror...Did that on the way out of the Dealers Lot!!

I didn't realize that! I guess I assumed that the outside mirrors would be memory controlled by the Key Fob. That is definately a nice feature. Yes, once set they are fine. But when I drive my daughter's Mini, she hates it because after I drive it, she has to readjust her mirrors.

I mistakenly told her that her mirrors should adjust back to her setting when using her key fob.

I've suggested it as a feature to MINI, I wish they'd listen. When me and the wife swap MINIs, we always have to adjust the mirrors.
