Wow, I cant believe it, I actually have my car back

In the short time I have had it it all seems to be working ok (fingers crossed).

Thank you all for your support and yes it is like taking delivery for the first time again

 

What did they say the problem was?? And how did they fix it?? This will help other owners who may in the future have the same/similar problem.

Glad you've been reunited with your MINI again!!

 

Glad they tracked it down!! I've know a few MINIs (and I owned one of them) that wound up w/ an initial glitch. Once fixed it never resurfaced. I'm sure that's the case here if they identified the exact problem.

 

Now get some Motoring done. You gotta get those break in miles completed.

It turned out while the car was being assembled the aux jack had not been connected to the main electronics / stereo system. The service department first changed the USB/aux jack then took the car apart to try and find the connection but had no luck. After consulting with MINI USA they ended up running a new connection and it all seems good at the moment.

The loner was nice but no substitute from finally having my MINI
