Can someone verify a 16' R83 wheel from an R53 will fit an R56? Is there an offset issue or brake caliper clearance problem? Thanks!

 

I have fitted 16" S-Winders from a R56 MCS onto my R53 MCS with no problems.

However, I am not sure if it can be done the other way around as the brake caliper in the R56 is bigger than in the R53.

Maybe someone can chime in.

there is the possible brake caliper clearance issue as well as the 14mms vs 12mm wheel bolt issue. R53 is 12mm
