Holding Computer settings

I set my computer to show MPH in the rev counter. Sometimes when I re-start the car it holds that and other times it returns to Time & Temp requireing a re-set. Is this normal??

No, it is not. Mine only does anything like that when I've disconnected and reconnected the engine battery. Sorry I don't have any troubleshooting tips besides asking your SA.

are you sure you are using the same key fob? The settings are saved in the key fobs and if you use one when you set it and then grab the other on your next trip, that could explain it.

Nope, same fob. It seems to hapen mostly when it is very cold out (19 to 25 degrees). Yesterday I set it, drove to the store and had to re-et it.

^^If it keeps coming back after re-setting it most likely it needs to be reprogrammed which only the Mini service dept. can do.

I'll get them to check that too when they re-adjust my headlights.
