So I've placed my order and was given the production number and when I go to the Mini Owners lounge to track my baby it says "scheduled for production." My question is this, while it's in production can you see photos of it being built or anything else that would aid in my Mini obsession/addiction or does it just say scheduled for production until it's done and then just says "awaiting transport?"

 

It doesn't (or didn't for us) show any pictures or anything. The lounge is also slow to catch up, for up to date information ring 800-ask-mini*. Also don't believe anything they say about shipping status, the only good information there comes from the shipping company.

*I'd try to keep the phone calls down to about 1 a day, but I was not always successful.
