Hi miniguy5. I'm loving my 2009 manual Mini Cooper and didn't have to spend any time getting used to the clutch. My last car was a 2007 Honda Civic.
I know it's personal preference, but I think the manual is just a lot more fun to drive!

My wife and I own a Cooper and a Clubman. Both 08, manual, same sport suspension. There is no difference is driving. No difference in feel or handling. The only way I can tell I'm driving her Clubman is to look at the RV mirror.
