I leased an 08 MCS this summer and I'm considering putting the JCW tuning kit in and I'm not sure I wanna put it in if I cant get an ok buyback rate. Anyone have any idea or experience with mini buyback rates after lease? Thanks

 

you can install it but you won't get anything back for it at the end. If you had it installed before you leased it then it could have been residualized.

 

If you leased it through BMW Financial Services (aka MINI financial) your residual value is already established in your contract. It is a well known fact that BMW will NOT re-negotiate that figure at contract's end. So you should already know what you will have to pay to keep your car at the end of the lease.

 

Thanks I didn't know that. I didn't do the negotiation when I took the lease I left that to my brother who is skilled in the art of haggling.
