Hi ,fellow motors i have an 2008 R56 MC (not s) it is pure silver with a black top . I just want some opinions on what would look good on the interior and exterior . I am thinking of getting some kind of cold air intake on it with an exhaust system too i was thinking of a Blueflame system . i had strips on but some jealous idiot keyed my car and a few days later ripped the strips off....
So since there are sooooooo manyyyyyy things i can do i would just like 2 hear some rthing you guys would recommend .. Thanks.
Been telling my other half this for over a year now. Hope you listen better than her.
And don't allow some idiot to dictate to you what you do with your MINI...
Sounds like she is taking your last bit of advice.
Although I agree about the wheels. Rota Slipstreams are light weight (16x7 are 13.9 lbs.), take OEM 195/55-16, 205/55-16 or 205/50-16 tires (same width as MINI 17's wheels take), and are easy to clean.
1. black out grill (cheap insert) $60
2. black out belt line with tape $12
3. black out door handles, gas cap + tail light inserts (plastic-dip) $7
4. black out exhaust tips (1000 degree black paint) $7
5. de-badge $0

Blacking out your mini: 86$
Not blacking out your mini and coming up with an original idea: priceless

Comment deleted. I'll take the high road.
Oh, and btw, I bought that MINI for her and I'm the one who takes care of it. So I think I have a bit more of a say that some other "idiot". Don't you agree ?

Woah, woah, woah... I don't think anything was meant by it. Looks like just an attempt at humor to me.
(btw, the comment you deleted was kinda funny... would've been a much better comeback, provided your tongue was in your cheek with it)
Was it funny ? Sure it was. And I left myself wide open for it.
But that was a shot that would have been better left not taken. Just like the reason I dedided to delete my comment.
Missed your comment, but I didn't mean to offend. The juxtaposition of your two original comments seemed funny to me, so I was just being playful -- hence the
Is that a kleenex dispenser next to your subs?!
(it would be soooo cool if it was...)
Yup, I've had allergies all my life, so there is always a Kleenex boxes floating around my cars. Didn't know what to do with that space, so...
The speakers aren't subs. They replace the 6x9 in the back. Closing off the back would block them, so I moved them. I'm still trying to figure out where to put a sub.

... Not sure i understand, you removed your entire backseats to put in a box that can only hold two 6x9's that replaces the stock rear speakers because by putting in a box for new speakers, you block the sound from the stock speakers... and you DON'T know where you could put subs???? WTF?

No, it gives me a lot more room in the back with a flat floor and protection against things flying forward in an accident. The cabinet also holds misc. stuff behind the driver's seat (usually keep cloth grocery bags in there), and a place for Kleenex. I haven't finished the top yet, but it would give visually secure storage that wouldn't temp someone while I'm parked.
I have no use for the rear seats. So, I decided to make the back more suitable to my purposes.
The main reason I can't decide about the sub (a Bass600) is that I don't want it to take up cargo space. Probably put it behind the passenger seat.
