Well not quite but I made a little video in response to a contest by Mini.ca . The parameters of the contest were to file a 10-30 second video of a crazy ride. I decided to go to the PNE (our local summer fair) and shoot a video from the newer roller coaster. The video is shot from the perspective of looking out the front window of a car. If you could please view and rate the video then I would be thankful.


The video can be viewed by going to mini homepage at http://www.mini.ca, then click skip on the flash opening page to get to the videos and the video should be on the far left. The video is called MINI TWIST AND SHOUT. Please rate it as well. 5 Stars won’t hurt.

I had to speed up the camera speed so it would look a more dramatic and I left the original audio to go over.

ok, a film of a roller coaster!? Not really fair to the other videos out there to solicite 5 stars so you can win. Kind of like stacking the deck.

The contest was originally open in September. I just uploaded the video yesterday and there is 9 days left.

The process for judging is that the top 10 videos will be put in front a panel of judges. Most likely the MINI’s marketing team and the advertising agency. Then they will make an independent decision. The rating has no bearing on whether the video will win.
I pretty much need at least 700 views to hit the top ten. In addition, a lot of the videos have violated copyright infringement from youtube and other sites.

 

its definetly the second best video of a mini on a roller coaster in the contest...

I'd love to watch the video, but I'm not finding them.
Is this because the contest is over and the videos are gone?

The Video content was taken down. I have the original video but I don't have the cutout portion of the cockpit. I will find out when I speak to them what will happen to it.

Shame its not there. I'm quite the fan of amusement rides, hence me buying a mini as it looks like one almost.
