Thank you for the props but really it is all in the eye of the beholder and to each their own. As the vast majority of the responses have been very positive we are happy with the results . As European Car is not in the habit of running features on " rice " and BMW has rarely been accused of designing " rice " we choose to take more stock in their professional views over a very few negative ones Is it a over the top look ? Of course. Is it for everyone ? Hell no, but we like it that way

People claiming that your car is ricey just shows off their own insurmountable ignorance more than anything else.
Did I never post mine in here? Well it's gone now, but it was fairly aggressive if not mean:

AutoMCS:
In response to your question about leaving the bottom lip but blacking outjust the bumper: Yes, that is how mine is done. I had a ton of vinyl decals cut to black the bumper out. I sold a few here on NAM. It really ups the tough factor that the MINI craves.
Tell me if this isn't one MEAN looking MINI??!! Crappy pic. from the Dealer's Lot, she just got the JCW Grill and Chrome Line Exterior installed Today!!

Looks great with the JCW Grill!
We're really happy with ours relative to the chrome bars. They were just a little much.

I think if I had put the Fog Light Chrome surrounds on as well that would have been to much, but so far I like this L@@K and eventually she will be sporting some Driving Lights as well, most likely in Black, so hopefully she will keep that cohesive L@@K I'm going for.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the Chrome Fog Light surrounds, either.

Can't wait to see the driving lights.
Can ya' wait a Year?? My next mod, October, will be some Enkei EDR9 (16x7) Wheels. Then I can't decide if I'm going to do the Roof Rack, or the Driving Lights.
I do my Mods. @ 6mo. intervals, that way I save up the $$ for what I want, and since I've waited so long to get them installed, I'm sure they are the right mods. to do for Molly!!
Now " James " that was harsh. Thankfully EuropeanCar magazine doesn't agree with you .This was a three page feature article that ran in Jan 2010 in case you don't read much
This is my vote. I love this car in and out, I think M7 did an amazing job with it all around. The only thing that I just noticed after reading the article is that the tail light rings and gas cap are still chrome. I can understand the belt line but when you have the headlight rings body color why not doo the other three pieces. But now I'm just being picky.
To Peter, Randy and everyone else over at M7 your parts are great.
