R56 Good Source for R56 Frt & Rr Rotors?
Good Source for R56 Frt & Rr Rotors?
It seams that there are alot of places that sell rotors for pre-R56 but not for the R56. I would like to get an extra set that I would put on the car when I take out to the track (which is about once a month). I would use race brake pads with these rotors. That way I would keep one set of street pads matched with their respective rotors and one set of race pads matched with their race rotors. With that method I would not need to bed-in the pads or have the rotors turned when swithing out pads.
So far the only R56 rotors that I have seen are drilled and or slotted. From what I have heard, that while the drilled/slotted rotors look pretty, they don't hold up well to track temperatures.
I would like to keep everything pretty much stock to stay in SCCA rules.
Thanks in advance.

I hope to have the NEW TSW R56 front slotted rotors ready to ship before XMas.
I don't know how the slotted will impact any SCCA class, maybe a SCCA Pro can speak to that.
As far as the need to have 2 sets of rotors, one street and one track, I don't think you do, IF you run Carbotech track pads and CT Street pads. They will both work on the same rotors.
As far as tracking any car, rotors and pads, like tires, are part of the cost to play. There is no one perfect pad or rotor for any one person, track or ride. If you run the same track over and over the set up you start with will become less then needed as you get faster and faster. Yet another reason to CT pads, start with XP8's, then move up to XP10's, XP12's and so on.

Thank you Classic Mini! Great Price!
Well, in reply to my own question; Classic Mini. They are one of the supporting Dealers here on NAM. https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/classicmini
They gave me 20% off for being a NAM member.
Less than $350 for all four rotors including shipping! BTW another company quoted me over $500.
