I have an 07 MCS 5 speed. Last Thursday when I was getting on the interstate the check engine light came on. I had time and stopped at the dealership. They had an extra loaner and off I went. I picked it up Friday morning and I was told that the DDMWorks R56 Race Intake System that I installed 3 months ago was the problem. You have to change the boster hose from the hard plastic one to a soft rubber. Yes it rubs some when you close the hood. However it had not happen before. On the drive home the light came on again and the low tire pressure too. I check the tires and all had 33-34 psi.
Do you guys think it could be the DDMworks race intake system? Or something else.
