Oh my goodness!!! Can anyone else verify this?

 

East Bay Mini's inventory shows two 2009 coupes. So I'm thinking Oxford may have issued a few 2009s coupes prior to the vacation shutdown in August. So, technically, that above post may be true. However, from what I've read, it's not possible to "ramp up" production at the plant. They run 24/7 and produce 700 unique cars a day. So I think for the rest of us that are waiting in the queue, it's still going to be awhile.

Btw, great posts and suggestions. Here's my update:

- come up with a name for my MCS - check
- watch all things mini on youtube - current activity
- shop for accesories - current activity

I feel like a kid waiting for Xmas.

 

I'm still in my wait, at least until Monday, and I...:

* Added $4500 worth of extra options after my order but before production
* Saw the Red Sox play at Yankee Stadium, my first of seeing the Sox and Yankee Stadium
* Saw David Beckham play for my first time
* Went to Chicago for the first time
* Saw Wrigley and the Cubs for the first time
* Today I go to one of my best friends wedding
* posted over 400 times on NAM
* joined phillymini forums
* checked the status of my MINI at least once per day, except when I was away in Chicago
* bought many many accessories
* visited my MINI and got some photos

It's been a busy time, but if it wasn't I think I would have gone mad
