I understand the need for profit and making up for the falling US dollar. This is ridiculous. How in the world does BMW think they will turn a profit by charging such a price for a few coats of paint. Sigh, I so wanted white rims for my future BRG mini. 750 bucks can buy me a much better rim that is white. Oh well I think I'll take a different route. I think the new 57Motorsports from tire rack would be a better investment.

I'm not sure how to set up a simple poll on here, So quick question. Who is going to pony up the 750 bucks for white Bridges. Oh and the White Crowns are more as well. :(

 

You could always paint them yourself. Even a few coats of spray paint followed by a few coats of clear can make it look good. Don't underestimate the rattle can!

 

when i bought my R56... after upgrading the wheels they didn't charge if i want them white or Alloy :S

 

I'm wondering if its a mistake in the configurator. For the MC, both the Silver and White bridgespokes cost $750. Like its forgotten you get 16" wheels for free in am MCS.

 

I agree. Check with MINI -- it may be a mistake. I have White 16" Bridge Spokes and just asked the dealer this weekend about buying a second set for winter tires. Less than $200/wheel.

 

If you want the wheels white there are alot of body shops and custom wheels shops that will paint your wheels. I have had this done on two sets of wheels for my 911 and they look great. I spent about 70 bucks a wheel. This was alot cheeper than new wheels and they look better than the set I painted myself. Good luck
