Possible SoCal Premie?

Hi all,

A request for information from anyone who's received a car recently in SoCal.

I ordered my MCS in late June with a guaranteed delivery by the end of August. On Monday I was able to finally see the on-line tracking status turn to ON ROUTE. Yah!

Could it be that the stork will bring my MINI to me earlier than scheduled?

What is the typical time between going from ON ROUTE to a Southern California dealer?

I've dropped the same message to my MA but no answer yet and so I decided to go to a lifeline and "poll the audience".

Cheers

Additional information from the Owner's lounge...

Sailed on the M/V ISOLDE on 07/10/2008

which will arrive at Panama on 07/21/2008 and SoCal port on 07/29/2008.

One strange thing is that the ISOLDE can not be found at:

http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shiplocations.phtml

Any comments on that one?

What is the typical amount of time between port and the dealership?

Cheers

mine was 8 days including jul 4th holiday.

if the ISOLDE doesn't make reports, it wont show up on sailw, iirc.

check the tracking thread for other options.
