Torque versus HP Graph

I've searched the forum but can't find a Torque vs. HP chart for a stock 2008 Mini Cooper, non-s engine.

I'd also like a "speed in gear" plot as well - stock 15" tires, six speed manual transmission - no sport suspension or other mods.

Can anyone direct me to this info?

I can't find anything searching for PeugeotCitroen_BMW on any of those sites. If I search for PeugeotCitroen_BMW.pdf I get lots of results which have nothing to do with it. Google doesn't find anything like that either.

Can you provide a better link?

Thanks to PiloTart -

The link to the Mini Cooper engine information for both the Base and S engines is:

http://www.psa-peugeot-citroen.com/d...1103281940.pdf

This is for the original updated engine - HP figures are slightly different from US models, but I believe that these are accurate.

Thanks. I hadn't see the non turbo graph before.

The turbo engine doesn't show as wide a torque band as other graphs I've seen. (The specs say it goes to 5k.)

The odd thing about those graphs is that the formula that I recall for converting torque to horsepower was:

(Torque[X]RPM)/5252=Horsepower and if you apply that to their graph, you see much higher horsepower than they list on the graph.

Turbo Engine (180x5500)/5252=188HP and the Normal Aspirated Engine (140x5750)/5252=153HP

I have also wondered if Horsepower rating is for continous or overboost.

My Turbo LeBaron was max continous boost of about 5psi with a computer allowed ten second overboost to 9psi, think that the MCS has similar.
