I put in an order for a 2009 MCS and my MA said it should arrive mid Nov. I do not have a production number yet, should I call my MA and ask him if he has received it yet?

 

Give it time. You'll get your production number in a few weeks, if not sooner. I received mine several weeks ago, but it did not make it into the system until about ten days ago. I'm slated for an Oct delivery.

Link above, but it is what you would get if you lived in Europe and ordered your MINI with a Center Armrest.

Larger and more useful, with a 'flip-open' padded top and very easy to install.

I'd highly consider it as I just saw / tested the OEM US Arm Rest and it sucked as most members had said.

It was very low to the ground (negating it as being an arm rest, wtf?) and felt and looked cheap.

 

Now that worries me...I was given week 38 for my 09 MCS and basically told it works like this...
One week for build
two weeks to ship
one week at VDC before delivery

That makes it a mid-Oct delivery if everything goes well. Is the Nov date just a conservative estimate or are more of you guys being told this? I also wonder if it differs from dealership to dealership.....

 

Well, the cabrio will have that new Interchange Yellow (highlighter color)!!

 

Ordered on August 16 is it going to be a week 37 build, how can you tell?

 

Call your MA or call 1-866-ASK-MINI after you've gotten your order number. They should have the week build information.

I love my Mini, but don't ask for customer service form Sandia Mini of New Mexico (the only BMW/Mini in the state). Poor communication, install from their shop sloppy. Just watch out. But they have some great female eye candy.

 

 

I had a great experience at Sandia MINI. My MA was Faron Smith and he worked his A#@ off. If he did not know an answer to a question, he was honest about it and got back with me with the correct information within 24 hrs; sometimes he would give me a call on other occasions he would shoot me an email or a text message.

That's a shame you had a bad experience. I hope you enjoy your ride and am happy to know that there is another MINI in NM!
