What is included in the annual service? I would have expected the tires to be rotated. Is this not the case? Also, I know this will vary but what is the expected life of brakes with typical driving. No need to educate me on driving habits or the what and where. In general, is the extended mileage coverage they sold (50,000)me based on it covering the first brake job a bunch of poo. The brakes were what they really leaned on with the pitch but based on the fact they want to go to the service meters before I can get the oil changed, I am starting to think they know they won't have to cover the brakes. If the car doesn't say they need changed, they will float right past the warranty and still have all my money.

 

I got the extended service plan.
I'm pretty sure I got ripped bad.
They really harped on the free brake job.

It is still unclear to me if that includes rotors.
Nothing is done until a light comes on.

I guess it also includes a couple more $40 (DIY with the
correct stuff) oil changes and an air filter.

I wont know for a while, I'm pretty sure I paid
$1400 for a set of front pads and two oil changes.......

 

They did my brakes @31k. I do all highway miles also. They said the backs are fine.

 

I guess it depends upon the dealer. Mine was upfront about it. When I asked about it, he said based on the miles I drive it wouldn't be worth it and he advised me against it.
