You guys scare me.

(I wouldn't want MY handgun in there...Anybody that touches the MINI in a bad way would get beaten to a pulp before I actually remembered to get the gun out!)

Quote: This is why you route a 12V line from the battery to the fake laptop.

(Disclaimer: Don't do that.)
Why not? My fake laptop is hooked up to a 12V line which is then hooked up to a pulse generator which is then hooked to an ignition coil which is then hooked to the aluminum case of the fake laptop. Still looking for a test person to grab the case. My guess is the casing is running about 55KV . I just want to be around when they grab it . I want to measure how many feet the jolt throws them.

(note - I really didn't do this, just thought about the fun)

A 45mm is not a handgun unless you weigh about 4 tons. It's a cannon and I wanna know how you fit that into the secret compartment. Did you hook it up to one of your unused buttons for firing?

I'm surprised no one had said: We could tell you what the secret compartment is, but then we'd have to kill you. ;P As far as the temp control in there, my brother has just retired from the Army after a couple Euro tours or so. He said many EU cars have that because they like their chocolates and don't want them to melt in the car. He found this out in Germany.

I plan on doing a rear seat delete and mounting a Phalanx CIWS for tailgaters. Gonna use the fog light toggles for safety and fire switches, since here in SC, I won't be using the fogs anyway. Just hope no one borrows my MINI on a warm moist morning...

I keep my MINI pen in the secret compartment, because my sabre is just too long. But with the pen being mightier than the sword, I too have a weapon in what my kids nicknamed the James Bond box. I also keep the pocket guide to motoring in there. And scrawled notes.
