Few Questions

Ok, os i have a few questions that i have yet to find an answer to. 1. how do you guys clean the sun roof screen wind deflector? 2. is there any way (besides paint) to get different color after market color line? By color line i maean the piece that sourrounds the glovebox button and the pieces on the door. 3. what is the best type of paint to paint the secret compartment cover and the drivers side?

Thanks

To clean the sunroof deflector I spray Windex on a cloth and wipe both sides. It gets rid of a few bug corpses and dust.

I can't give you an intelligent answer to your other questions. That sort of thing is beyond me.

You can get the interior pieces painted, covered with vinyl, or upholstered. You could opt for a wood interior too. If you are adventurous and can find some vinyl or leather that you like, you could try upholstering it yourself too.

I used soapy water to clean up the bugs.
Soap shouldn't harm the screen. Other chemicals might.

As far as painting, you'd have to sand the old 'covers' before painting, just to get some kind of paint to adhere to that exciting plastic. Talk to a body shop.
I've never seen your question, ever.

I had my color line painted to accent my MINI's body color. The trim removal is pretty intensive(lots of hidden screws tucked under this and that) but the door armrests just pop right off.

Nice Link!

I would treat the Sunroof '...screens...' just like window screens, no Windex or any other chemical, just use a vacuum w/brush attachment to clean and remove 'bugs'.
