Hey all! I'm thinking about picking up a mini soon and was wondering what sort of negotiations dealers make with regards to Mini's that are ordered (not off the lot)...do they often negotiate on prices? or is the price set?

You might search the forum. This one has been well discussed over the last year.

 

FWICR...$500 at most with floor mats and other small throw ins was as good as it got.

 

very few people get lower then msrp.

Most people seem to get floor mats thrown in.

If you want to find a good deal, contact all of the dealerships in your area, get a price for your build, tell them that you're considering other dealerships and see what price they'll give you.... If it's lower then msrp, tell all the other dealerships what you've been offered, and see if they'll go lower... get em into a circular bidding pattern, that's really the only way...

but these things sell themselves, they don't really need to do a whole lot to move them...

Talk to them about extended warranty or a discount on the extended. Besides that run with the floor mats and anyother nickel or dime stuff you can get.
