quick oil change question

i was wondering what size socket it was for oil fiter on 08 Cooper S. I did search, but couldnt find.

A 1-1/16th socket will also fit, if you don't have a 27mm. They're nearly identical in size (1-1/16th = 26.9875mm). I have a 1-1/16th, and it fits fine.

I too used a 1-1/16 socket on my 08 MCS.

any idea what size the hex key is to drain oil?
