My mini just arrived at the dealer lot and I guess (looking over the final spec sheet) my biggest regret would be not ordering the anthracite (black) headliner.... yes, its an overpriced option, but some people like a dark interior (such as myself). Another one is the xenon headlights. Its much brighter (and the bulbs last longer), but it has a really sharp cut-off which cuts down its effective range (in order NOT to blind oncoming drivers). Once again, its really a personal thing anyways. If you have any more questions feel free to PM me, afterall, I was in your shoes not too long ago (picking the right options and staying within budget is a pain).

Is the chromeline interior really $250? That's a lot of $$ for some chrome plated plastic. Personally I'm not fond of shiny things on the dash. They reflect in the windows and catch the sun when it is low.

I'd second the Anthracite headliner, especially with a black roof.

LSD is good, but I'd highly recommend DSC. It is an excellent safety feature and could save your butt. It is more effective at reducing accidents than ABS brakes. If you live where there is rain, snow, or ice, it is even more valuable.

I ordered lots of accessories and like most of them. Heated seats are nice. Park Distance Control helps with low objects and tight spaces. HIFI is easy to upgrade with new speakers.

+1 on the DSC and rear fogs; go shop for an aftermarket armrest instead of MINI's mediocre version; maybe LSD as long as you're gonna drop the extra $$ for an S

Drop the Chrome plastic. Not worth it.

The Anthracite headliner... A MUST HAVE!
