A lot of it depends on the driver, but let's assume you had the same exact driver (no skill difference) in two different cars on the same track, only then can you compare the cars.
That's funny, cause I don't know of any R56's that are putting down 270 HP to the wheels. Last I checked it was only R53's that had gotten closed to that 300+ wheel HP "Holy Grail".

Street racing, drag, auto-x, or track? The question is very general? Have you done any mods? What year is your car? Any ways if you are street racing (you should take it off the streets and onto a track) you must be top end racing and non turbo/super cars have a major tendency to run out of steam when they get 1000 rpm's away from red line. If it is a super, most of the stock super S have full boost from 2500 to red line. Turbo is about the same with more boost around 4000 but a real loss around 5500. I think both S's are 6 speed so you do the math (in 3 i can be either doing 25 or 70). 1/4 time in a just a non mod will be sad, so don't unless you want that scion driver laughing at you at the next light (or at the end of the pad). Car and driver quotes the 07 s in the 15 second range (thats comparable to the civic si, s2000, etc....) auto-x and track driving is all about you less about the car. you can track a station wagon (if you can sort out the body roll) if you wanted to. Pm me and i could give you a bit more if you want.
