R56 Sunroof/Moonroof Measurements?
Sunroof/Moonroof Measurements?
I have searched and searched and can't seem to find the measurements for the R56 sunroof/moonroof.
Anyone wanna take a tape measure out and get me the interior measurements so that I can figure out if one possible fix will work for me and the baby on our three hour drive home across the Arizona desert in two weeks? heheheh Sunburned 4 month olds aren't much fun!
I have some shades that might be a good temp fix for the sunroof before tinting/roof graphic time comes. I just want to know if they'll work.

24 3/4 X 17 1/2 inches. Front and back. The fold up sun shields that are spring loaded work perfect. There is enough tension to stay in place. I have two sets from some promotion, but sure you can find them somewhere. Each one is just a little larger than the opening and pop into place, just don't forget and try to open the sunroof with them in there or it could cause a problem.
Hi caulyne I have installed the ZippeeShade (it is springloaded) in the front & rear sunroofs. It comes with both in the package.
I purchased it from WMW.
It seems to really work. I also had tint put on before buying the shades. The tint did help some. But is a lot better with the shades.

Just an FYI here. You can not get sun burned through a glass sunroof nor the windows of your car or any window for that matter. THE UV rays from the sun that cause you to get a sun burn do not penetrate the glass.
