R56 Greetings from Vancouver
Greetings from Vancouver
Hi ALL!
I just bought my first Mini Cooper S (2007) 6-speed and was wondering where I should start with the MOD's. Anybody from Vancouver, BC on here that can tell me where I can go to purchase parts from??
What is a good exhaust for sound and performance? What should be the first thing I should do to it?? Exhaust?Air Intake? What companies are good?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

From Vancouver here too. Seems like most people buy parts online and ship them to the border to pick up. Unless you want to deal with a specific shop. I don't know which ones cater to MINI's.
I just picked up my first 2008 MINI Cooper S on January 23. (It's actually my first Mini ever...) I ordered it with lots of options and I'm loving it just the way it is right now.
But I'm sure the mod bug will hit. And there's a bunch of us in your area, gentlemen. (Seattle) Did you buy from MINI Richmond?
If I'm allowed to plug a local forum... http://www.psmini.org There are many qualified MINI shops in the Seattle area.
Before I even took delivery I was getting amped over a 15% pulley. Then I learned that my 2nd generation MINI is turbo charged and not supercharged. That pulley doesn't apply.
From 2001 to 2006 the supercharged engines were built by Chrysler-Benz. This didn't sit well with BMW when the engine maker contract ran out. The new engines (2007 +) are turbo-charged built by PSA/Peugeot per BMW specifications.
